The 12 Principles of Animation apply to our project as follows:

Squash and stretch-*To be added later after further thought*

Anticipation-There is a buildup to the implosion and a pause before it happens

Staging-We are looking into the placement and organization of elements in the scene

Pose to pose-Applies where we use frame by frame animation to transition between patterns

Follow through and overlapping action-Momentum from the spinning action carries over into the transitions

Slow in/out-Spinning starts slowly and slows down

Arcs-Traveling "stars" move towards center in arcs rather than straight lines

Secondary action-There are no connected elements to influence with secondary action in our animation.

Timing-Music cues and making sure it is slow enough that you can see it

Exaggeration-We have an explosion? It will be quite exaggerated

Solid Drawing-We will draw each frame well.

Appeal-The spinning "stars" are visually appealing and mesmerizing optical illusions

This is officially the coolest thing I have seen so far today.
